Dr. Kevin Ibach, MD, FRCPC
Dr. Kevin Ibach, MD, FRCPC is a radiologist with over 22 years of experience in oncology imaging, specializing in breast and body imaging. He currently serves as a Radiologist at BC Cancer Vancouver Centre, where he previously held the role of Medical Director of Breast Imaging. Dr. Ibach has extensive experience in both academic and private practice settings and currently serves as Clinical Instructor at the University of British Columbia.
As a co-author of the Healthcare Management Forum publication on alternative breast care pathways in Canada, Dr. Ibach brings practical insights from implementing innovative breast imaging technologies. He is certified by both the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the American Board of Radiology in Diagnostic Radiology.
Casandra Gardner, PhD
Casandra (Casey) Gardner is the Associate Director of Medical Affairs at BD-Canada, working with key opinion leaders to enhance healthcare through evidence and education. Her clinical focus includes women’s health, incontinence, breast health, oncology, and vascular diseases. Casey also promotes awareness of chronic diseases affecting minorities, such as peripheral arterial and end-stage kidney disease.
With a PhD in Chemistry from McMaster University, she specialized in biomedical engineering and worked on biomaterials for diabetes treatment, which were licensed to CCRM for stem cell manufacturing. At CCRM, she shifted from academia to industry, collaborating on CAR T therapies. Later, as OEM Director at a medical device firm, she led R&D, Sales, and Marketing, forming global partnerships. In 2020, she joined BD, developing solutions like a clinical incentive program for drug vial safety.
Casandra is committed to improving healthcare access for vulnerable Canadians through her work at BD.
Robyn Saccon, MHA, CHE
Robyn Saccon is the Vice President of Public Affairs at BD-Canada, a leading global and Canadian medical technology company.
With more than 17 years of experience in the hospital and healthcare sectors, Robyn is known for her expertise in relationship-building and policy influence.
Robyn drives BD-Canada’s strategic marketing and communications, policy, as well as government relations efforts that play a crucial role in advancing the organization's mission to transform care for all Canadians. A leader in Canada’s MedTech sector, Robyn serves on the boards of Life Sciences Ontario and the Mississauga Board of Trade and is involved and chairs several influential committees, including those for Medtech Canada, UBC Industry Advisory, School of Biomedical Engineering, and the Ontario Chamber of Commerce.
Her contributions were recognized at the Canadian College of Health Leaders, Greater Toronto Area Leadership Awards in 2024. In 2025, Robyn was honoured with the Empower HER award for her work in women's health and leadership within the community of Mississauga.

Don Juzwishin, PhD, FCCHL
Don Juzwishin, a seasoned expert with over 40 years in health leadership, research, and education, has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals on healthcare policy, decision-making, and health technology assessment (HTA).
His career includes pivotal roles such as Director of Health Technology Assessment and Innovation at Alberta Health Services and CEO of the Health Council of Canada. With a focus on integrating science and values to enhance clinical and cost effectiveness, equity, and inclusivity, Don has contributed to healthcare reform initiatives worldwide, including projects in Brazil, Tanzania, Kazakhstan, Mexico, China, and Ukraine.
Now retired on Vancouver Island, he teaches Health Information Science at the University of Victoria, serves as Editor-in-Chief of Healthcare Management Forum, and leads a challenge area for AGE-WELL. He is co-author of History of Public Health in Alberta, 1919 to 2019 and AgeTech Innovations in Healthcare for Older Adults.
