Ali El-Ayoubi Profile

Ali El-Ayoubi, CHE has had a diverse career working in various roles in both the public and private healthcare sectors. Starting her career as a Registered nurse at the bedside, Ali worked in acute care, community care, and health leadership. She completed an MBA in 2018 and proceeded to work as a consultant in a change management consultancy, with a cultural lens approach to change management. While working as a consultant, Ali was able to use “a set of tools that provided quantitative insights into the nuances of culture and leadership impact.” In 2022, Ali became part of The BluePrint Toolset, a leading provider of innovative diagnostic tools designed to help organizations achieve their goals. Today, Ali is part of The BluePrint Toolset ownership group as the President and CEO. Over the past two years, Ali has helped them transform into a Software-as-a-service to provide valuable insights into data that organizations can choose to leverage for a growth journey. For Ali, “building joy in work and communities is not just a career, but also a passion”.

Ali El-Ayoubi decided to pursue a career in healthcare because she has always wanted to help others create more joy in their lives, health, and at work. “It’s an honour to support people through their most challenging times, and provide resources and empower people to make decisions that create that joy. Whether in their physical health, mental health, emotional well-being, or work engagement, seeing people get that joy back is such a gift!”

When asked about her greatest accomplishment as a health leader, Ali explains that she feels accomplished by “connecting passionate health leaders with others.”  From both inside and outside of healthcare, Ali encourages leaders to challenge norms and foster innovation within a system that is under strain and pressure. With a focus on developing leadership skills for young women and other groups who have been historically disenfranchised, Ali meets people and teams to help them create a roadmap to success.

Ali is part of the CCHL Southwestern Ontario Chapter and was selected as the recipient of the 2024 Chapter Award for Distinguished Service in recognition of her contributions and involvement with the Chapter. Ali explains that she has found the College supportive and beneficial to her healthcare leadership career. “The College is such an incredible set of resources, regardless of where you are in your leadership journey. The networking events exposed me to areas of the system I didn’t even know existed and allowed me safe support at the times where I felt very much alone in a system which is broken in so many ways.”

Ali highlights the usefulness of the support and mentorship she received from the College. “Getting perspectives from similar others at other organizations and knowing how they are navigating the same challenges is so fulfilling. The College was able to offer a suite of supports – both from thought leadership, as well as connections to similar others, which allowed me to challenge what I thought my healthcare leadership journey would look like. I am so grateful for the support I have received.”
