Rosa Rudelich, Chief Operating Officer (COO), Covenant Health
Rosa Rudelich serves as the COO of Covenant Health, bringing more than 30 years’ experience in the healthcare sector and a unique combination of financial expertise and operational leadership. As a Certified Public Accountant (CPA, CA) and the organization’s former Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Rosa has an in-depth understanding of the financial and operational complexities of delivering exceptional healthcare services.
During her tenure as CFO, Rosa successfully led initiatives to enhance financial performance, streamline budgeting processes, and optimize resource allocation, ensuring the organization’s fiscal health while advancing its mission of compassionate, high-quality care. Her leadership was pivotal in driving cost-saving strategies, securing funding for expansion projects and fostering transparency across financial operations.
As COO, Rosa leverages her financial foundation to oversee Covenant Health’s operational functions, ensuring efficient service delivery, regulatory compliance, and alignment with the organization’s mission, vision and values. Known for her sound decision-making and collaborative leadership, Rosa has played a key role in shaping the strategic direction of the organization. Her ability to lead large, multidisciplinary teams and foster strong relationships with community stakeholders, medical leaders and Alberta Health Services partners has been instrumental to Covenant Health’s success.
Rosa holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta and is an active member of CPA Alberta and the Canadian College of Health Leaders. Beyond her professional responsibilities, Rosa is dedicated to giving back to her community. She currently serves on the Archdiocese Finance Committee for the Catholic Archdiocese of Edmonton and has contributed to various boards and committees.
