Executive Director
For over 25 years, the Maltby Centre has been providing mental health and autism services to children and youth. We are the provincially designated Lead Agency for child and youth mental health in Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox & Addington. We work with clients in one of five Maltby Centre campuses, in their homes, in schools, or in other community locations. Maltby Centre has fostered close partnerships with numerous local, provincial, and national organizations to ensure successful service navigation for a diverse client population. Maltby Centre is committed to client-centered, safe, quality service and works closely with our clients and families to individualize our client service in order to foster inclusion, acceptance, and promote a life without barriers. We are committed to making a difference, changing lives, and creating healthy communities particularly for those children and youth with mental health and autism needs.

Maltby Centre has an annual operating budget of $15.6 million, and an incredibly skilled and dedicated team of 116 employees who live and work in our community. As the ideal candidate and our new Executive Director your passion for our sector is second to none. You are known as an inspiring and empowering leader who is genuinely committed to our mandate in the context of an evolving autism and mental health landscape for children and youth in Ontario. You will have a unique ability to navigate the complex nature of the services we provide within the communities we serve and with our funders. To provide the best possible supports, you will build collaborative partnerships with our board, staff, system partners, clients and community to move our agenda forward while supporting the delivery of client-focused, autism and mental health services.
As our Executive Director, along with the Board of Directors and the senior leadership team, you will be instrumental in leading the achievement of our strategic directions and in moving our organization forward. This will entail ensuring that operating structures, programs and services support the organization’s strategic goals, and that all of the organization’s activities are delivered in a manner consistent with our strategy, vision, mission and values. The Executive Director will also ensure the needs and the demands of the people we serve, and their families and supporters, are met.
However, what matters most in our leader is to couple approachability and empathy with strategic thinking, expertise, partnership, collaboration and the ability to inspire our team to provide service excellence.
