Vice President, Financial and Corporate Services/Chief Financial Officer
Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital (PSFDH) is a fully accredited acute care health care organization located in the heart of the Rideau Canal region, serving more than 60,000 people in the surrounding communities. PSFDH is seeking a Vice President, Financial and Corporate Services / Chief Financial Officer. The Position
As Vice President, Financial and Corporate Services/Chief Financial Officer, you will be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team with responsibility across a portfolio that includes Finance, Business Office, Payroll, Material Management, Food Services, Housekeeping, Health Records, Privacy, Patient Registration, Patient Relations, Communications, Health Information Services, Plant Operations/Maintenance and Management. Reporting directly to the President and CEO, you will provide strategic and operational leadership for financial management and corporate services, supporting the hospital’s mission and strategic objectives. This role involves overseeing financial policies, corporate services, and strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing financial health and operational efficiency. You will lead the integration of advanced technology systems, including a new electronic medical record system, to streamline operations and enhance patient care. This leadership role is not just about maintaining financial standards but elevating them, fostering a culture of excellence in financial stewardship and innovative business practices.
Experience
The successful candidate will have progressive leadership experience at either the Director or Executive Leadership level in Finance and/or Corporate Services. This is an influential leadership role that requires an individual who excels at driving business strategy and operational efficiency in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment. The successful candidate will have the transformational ability to implement leading practices in fiscal stewardship and corporate accountability across a diverse portfolio. In addition, he/she/they will have the ideal opportunity to be a vocal and visible advocate of excellence in healthcare, including the use of data analytics and execution of capital redevelopment, while contributing to both strategic and operational financial leadership. A passion for the healthcare sector and value alignment with the organization’s mission, vision, and values will also be key.
