A bold strategic plan emphasizing entrepreneurship and innovation has resulted in new and additional seats at the board table. To ensure a mix of talents and experiences, Partners for Care is particularly interested in candidates who possess any of the following:

  • Communications and marketing expertise
  • Business professionals with an entrepreneurship mindset or experience
  • Information technology development and ethical oversight knowledge
  • Individuals from the Northern health zone

Healthcare leadership and governance experience are additional valued skill sets. Applicants from across Nova Scotia are sought.

Board appointments are for a three-year, renewable term with an expecta1on of committee participation.

The Board of Directors is accountable for PFC performance against mission and strategic objectives and the effective stewardship of financial and human resources. In keeping with best board renewal practices, the Partners for Care Chief Executive Officer will support and orientate new members.
