Glenys Reeves

Glenys believes that the first step to build effective organizations is the development of leadership capabilities at all organizational levels.  She has a special interest in personal leadership and collaborative practices. Her MA’s research on how to build collaboration was recognized by two provincial health ministries and earned her an appointment to a Bi-Provincial Working Group, whose work was to develop strategies to provide seamless health services in a bi-provincial health authority.

With over 30 years work experience in Health and Human Services, Glenys has had the opportunity to coach and consult with individuals from a variety of sectors.  These coaching engagements included those in senior leadership through to direct care staff.  The focus of her coaching is on personal and professional transitions that assist an individual to grow in their leadership practice.

Her dedication to leadership development has extended to being a key player in the implementation of a community leadership program in the region that she lives and works.  This program builds community capacity through the development of leaders in the business, not-for-profit and government sectors. Glenys has also worked with a variety of organizations to embed a coaching-midset with leaders and staff. In addition to her work as a coach Glenys has also worked in the field of mediation, in which part of her practice involved conflict resolution in a variety of work environments.

Glenys is married and has two adult children. When not working Glenys enjoys time with friends and family and loves traveling with her husband to new and interesting locations!
