Anne McNamara

I am a Certified Executive Coach with the International Coaching Federation ACC credential.

My background includes more than 20 years of work as a Clinical Respiratory and Critical Care Physician. I served as Head of the Department of Medicine in Surrey Memorial Hospital, BC, followed by four years as Head of the FHA Regional Department of Medicine. There were 9 Regional Divisions and 11 Hospitals within that Department of Medicine.

I have a broad and deep experience of a Physician’s office, hospital, clinical, and leadership worlds, and enjoyed collaborating with a wide range of Health Care Professionals, and Operational, Administrative and Executive colleagues.

My passion is to coach Physicians and Leaders: empowering them to clarify their unique purpose, build greater confidence and resilience, find renewed meaning and joy in their clinical and leadership roles, and see a path to achieving their greatest potential.

Among my clients are doctors leading teams and groups, those seeking enhanced communication and dialogue skills, those working to foster physician engagement and well-being, leaders struggling with conflict and colleagues in difficulty.
