David Courtemanche

David Courtemanche is the founder and principal consultant of Leading Minds - a leadership consultancy firm, established in 1997, specializing in leadership development for individuals, organizations and businesses. With over 30 years of senior administrative experience, he retired from full-time work in 2024. At 39 years old, he was the youngest elected Mayor in the history of the City of Greater Sudbury where he served on Council for nine years. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Ontario College of Family Physicians.

 

A graduate of the University of Guelph, he majored in Political Studies and holds a Master’s Degree in Leadership. His executive training includes programs at the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management, York University’s Schulich School of Executive Development and Royal Roads University. He is LEADS Canada certified and has achieved the Canadian Health Executive (CHE) designation. David is certified to deliver Hogan Assessments including the Hogan Personality Inventory, the Hogan Development Survey and the Hogan Motives, Values and Preferences Inventory as well as the Hogan 360.
