David Courtemanche
David Courtemanche is the principal consultant and founder of Leading Minds Inc - a leadership consultancy firm specializing in leadership development for individuals, organizations and communities. Services include leadership learning, executive coaching, keynote speaking and group facilitation.
David has held senior management positions with several organizations and is currently the Executive Director of the City of Lakes Family Health Team. At 39 years old, he was the youngest elected mayor in the history of the City of Greater Sudbury where he served on Council for nine years. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Ontario College of Family Physicians.
A graduate of the University of Guelph, he majored in Political Studies and holds a Master’s Degree in Leadership. He has completed executive training at the York University Schulich School of Executive Development and Royal Roads University in Victoria, B.C. He is LEADS Canada certified as well as a certified LEADS Canada Coach and has achieved the Canadian Health Executive (CHE) designation under the Canadian College of Health Leaders. David is professionally certified to deliver Hogan Assessments including the Hogan Personality Inventory, the Hogan Development Survey and the Hogan Motives, Values and Preferences Inventory.
