The 2025 National Conversation on Healthcare is set to tackle one of the most pressing issues of our time: Health System Redesign: Addressing Accessibility, Equity, and Sustainability in Canadian Healthcare. This timely and essential topic highlights the urgent need to lead and transform how healthcare is delivered across Canada.
As our population ages and demand for services rises, existing systems face mounting pressure. Gaps in accessibility and equity mean not all Canadians receive timely, high-quality care. Workforce shortages, financial sustainability challenges, and integrating innovative technologies require bold, collaborative approaches to redesign.
Like previous years, this year’s National Conversation will be interactive, engaging, and hopefully inspiring as we learn from one another and explore strategies health leaders can use to lead and implement sustainable systemic change.
Part One of the 2025 National Conversation will be held virtually, with the date to be announced soon and Part Two will be a plenary session at the 2025 CCHL National Conference in Edmonton (June 15-17).
About the CCHL National Conversation
The CCHL National Conversation allows members to learn about and advance thought leadership on priority topics in Canadian healthcare. By fostering expert-informed dialogue, it supports effective health leadership within and beyond the CCHL community. These conversations address critical healthcare challenges, identify necessary leadership skills, and culminate in an Executive Summary shared through networks across Canada.
