Announcement regarding the National Health Leadership Conference (NHLC)

December 7, 2022

In light of evolving needs and shifting priorities affecting health system leaders in Canada – some of which have been accelerated by the ongoing COVID pandemic – and reflecting the strategic vision and objectives of each organization, the Canadian College of Health Leaders (CCHL) and HealthCareCAN have decided to wind down the National Health Leadership Conference (NHLC), effective immediately. CCHL and HealthCareCAN will continue to move forward in the conference space.

CCHL and HealthCareCAN have been proud to co-host the NHLC for decades. Throughout its history, this national conference offered Canadian health system leaders attending the event, whether in its virtual or in-person format, the highest quality speakers, content and networking opportunities and a chance to engage, as leaders, in the continued improvement of our health system and services.

The NHLC’s success was made possible by the contributions of the many volunteers, health leaders, sponsoring organizations, planning committee members, delegates and others who shared their knowledge and support to make the NHLC a singularly important healthcare event every year. The work of these dedicated individuals and organizations helped create an important space for engagement, learning, and relationships. CCHL and HealthCareCAN thank all of these esteemed health leaders for their unwavering support.
