On behalf of the Canadian College of Health Leaders and its Board of Directors, we would like to congratulate Sean Hardiman, FCCHL, Dr. Gaurav Mehta, FCCHL and Susan Walsh, FCCHL on attaining Fellowship status in the College.



The Fellowship is the highest professional designation awarded by the College and recognizes members who have demonstrated outstanding leadership, who have had an impact on the Canadian health system through their leadership and engagement, and who are motivated to continue to influence future leaders through their involvement in the Fellows Program and the CCHL.
Sean Hardiman, FCCHL is Executive Director, Clinical Services Delivery at Island Health. With 26 years in health services, Sean leads strategy and operations for diagnostics and medication systems at Island Health. A PhD-trained health services researcher, he has held senior roles across BC and advances care quality through system redesign and research.
Dr. Gaurav Mehta, FCCHL is Consultant Addiction Psychiatrist and the Deputy Chief Psychiatry at Southlake Regional Health Centre. He leads in psychiatry, ECT, and diabetes-mental health integration, holds academic and advisory roles, and contributes extensively to research, guidelines, and clinical education in mental health.
Susan Walsh, FCCHL, President and CEO of Northumberland Hills Hospital since 2021, is a seasoned healthcare leader with diverse experience across hospital, community, and social sectors. A lifelong learner, she champions patient-centred care, quality improvement, and digital clinical transformation.
The College officially launched a redesigned Fellowship program in June of 2021 called the Fellowship Select Program. The process of going through the Fellowship Select Program is one that includes a rigorous peer-review component.
