eQUITY Link 2.0: An improved interface for a better user experience

Ottawa, October 3, 2024 — eQUITY Link, the benchmark for the active offer bilingual health services, reveals its new and improved interface. As an essential tool for health managers, this new version of the platform offers a clear and structured approach, guiding users at every step to optimize their health services in French, regardless of their current stage in the process.

The new version of eQUITY Link  introduces innovations that provide users with comprehensive support for implementing practices that promote the equity of French-language health services,” says Antoine Désilets, Executive Director of the Société Santé en français.

The improved interface includes a complete overhaul of the home page, with the integration of a platform-wide search bar. It also encourages health managers to begin their journey with self-assessment. The “Training” section places particular emphasis on the eQUITY Fundamentals as a starting point for the sustainable implementation of bilingual health services, all within a more fluid navigation experience. A dashboard offers a quick overview of progress while the new  “Resources” section provides additional support. In addition, the new interface features an optimized pedagogical structure to enhance the user experience.

The eQUITY fundamentals were developed and validated using field-proven strategies from French-language health networks and their partners across the provinces and territories. This training guide has been designed to answer key questions health  managers often ask: “Where do I start and how do I proceed?

The updated platform thus consolidates its role as an essential resource for managers wishing to engage in a process of continuous improvement of their services, while respecting language rights and promoting equity.About the Société Santé en français
Bridging francophone communities and government stakeholders, Société Santé en français (SSF) is a dynamic national organization which aims to promote the development of health in French for Francophone and Acadian minority communities in Canada. Société Santé en français is the meeting point for 16 regional, territorial and provincial networks working together with partners interested in improving access to health services in French in all provinces and territories where French is not the language of the majority of the population.
