After 33 years in healthcare, 24 of which with the CCHL, I will be retiring from the College at the end of September. It has been a privilege to listen, learn, and work alongside our members from coast to coast to coast and I want to express my deepest gratitude to all our members who have been part of this memorable journey.
From the beginning, it has been the strength of our membership that has driven the College forward. Your insights, leadership, passion, and unwavering commitment to improving healthcare have shaped every success we have achieved, and more to come!
Thank you, with sincere appreciation, to our Board Chairs and all members of the Board of Directors—past and present—that I have had the pleasure to work with over the years. Your leadership, guidance, and commitment in stewarding the College through growth, transformation, and challenge have brought us to this strong member community today.
To our corporate members, I want to express, particular appreciation, as I have truly enjoyed working with you all over the years on many College activities, especially our HPRS Program and building our National Awards Program. Your meaningful partnerships, support, leadership, and innovation have brought valuable perspectives to the healthcare system and a lasting impact on the College.
What I will cherish most and will remain one of the most meaningful parts of my time with the College, are the lasting and meaningful relationships with members, colleagues, corporate, and stakeholders that have grown through our shared work over the years. These relationships have enriched my life both professionally and personally.
As I look ahead, I do so with confidence in the future of the College. The dedication of our members, the commitment of our Board of Directors and leadership, and the clarity of our purpose to ensure that the College will continue to thrive.
Thank you everyone. It has truly been my privilege, and I am deeply grateful to have been part of this remarkable community.
Wishing you all the very best and I do hope our paths will continue to cross. Now let’s see what retirement looks like!
With Appreciation,
Jaime
