Jeanette Edwards, CHE named recipient of the 2021 Mentorship Award

The Canadian College of Health Leaders is proud to announce that Jeanette Edwards, CHE, Former Strategic Lead, Community Health, Quality and Learning and Interim Provincial Lead, Indigenous Health at Shared Health, Manitoba, has been named recipient of the 2021 Mentorship Award.

Jeanette Edwards has been an inspirational steward of quality and patient safety for Manitoba’s healthcare systems for decades. Woven into this stewardship is a steadfast dedication to the development and support of healthcare leaders through mentorship.

Through her tireless work to improve healthcare in Manitoba and the world, Jeanette has spent her career informally mentoring healthcare workers. Her ability to build professional and trust-based relationships with mentees as well as community members is commendable.

The Mentorship Award is presented to a leader in the healthcare system who demonstrates exemplary, sustained commitment to mentoring, and inspiring healthcare leadership.

This award is sponsored by Roche Canada. Roche is committed to improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the healthcare system in the diagnosis, treatment and management of acute and long-term disease in key therapeutic and diagnostic areas.

This award is part of our CCHL National Awards Program. and will be presented at the virtual Honouring Health Leadership event on June 16, 2021.
