Mark Matthew and Kaz MacKenzie, Directors in Indigenous Health and Reconciliation with the Ministry of Health, will give an overview of the findings from In Plain Sight: Addressing Indigenous-specific Racism in BC health care and provide updates on work that is currently underway to respond to and implement the recommendations. In addition, Mark and Kaz will share ideas for how we can individually and collectively enhance our cultural humility and antiracism practice as we work towards cultural safety and addressing Indigenous-specific racism.
