Join us for a webinar on July 13, at noon, EDT, with Adrian MacKenzie, PhD, the Director of Research for the Nova Scotia Health Authority, as he details the needs-based workforce planning undertaken in that province in response to COVID-19. The modelling undertaken by Mackenzie’s workforce planning team enabled a multi-faceted set of data-driven interventions aimed at increasing the availability of workers with the needed competencies for Nova Scotia Health’s response to the third wave of the pandemic. Based on their experiences, and the lessons learned, health workforce leaders are encouraged to integrate better workforce planning into their overall pandemic response and recovery.
