Bluenose Chapter – Building an organizational culture of staff wellness and safety (cchl-ccls.ca)Join expert speakers Brenda Landry and Dr. Dayna Lee-Baggley as they share their knowledge and helpful techniques on taking care of yourself and others as leaders. We’ll walk through how to check in with yourself, how to promote wellness on in your organization and how to not only stave off burnout but truly how you can show up as the best version of you.

Dr. Dayna Lee-Baggley is a Registered Clinical Psychologist. She works as a Clinical Health Psychologist at tertiary level hospital in Halifax, Nova Scotia for the Medical/Surgery/Cancer Care portfolio. She holds an Assistant Professor appointment in the Department of Family Medicine and cross appointments in the Departments of Surgery and Psychology & Neuroscience at Dalhousie University and an Adjunct Professor appointment in the Department of Industrial and Organizational Psychology at Saint Mary’s University. She is the Director for the Behaviour Change Research Institute, which conducts research and training in chronic disease management. She provides healthy workplace interventions for employees, teams, and leaders. She was the recipient of the 2017 Women of Excellence Award for her contributions to Health, Sport and Wellness. She is the author of the book “Healthy Habits Suck: How to get off the couch & live a healthy life…even if you don’t want to.”


Brenda Landry is the President of Evoke Consulting. She brings over 20 years of experience in consulting and executive facilitation roles, with expertise in leadership, communications, diversity, equity, and inclusion, and change management. Brenda is passionate about developing and empowering others and has worked with thousands of leaders around the world to develop their courage and confidence. Perhaps most importantly, Brenda presents with an approachable, fun disposition, using real scenarios to drive home the learning. Born and raised in Halifax, NS, Brenda now lives in Toronto but continues to provide consulting services to the Province across various government departments including Justice, Community Services, and Health and Wellness. Brenda has a Master of Business Administration in executive management consulting from Royal Roads University and a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Saint Mary’s University. She is releasing her upcoming book, FLAUNT, Fall of 2023.
