New Award to Recognize HMF Article of the Year

August 12, 2019

The Canadian College of Health Leaders is pleased to introduce the new Healthcare Management Forum Article of the Year Award. This new award, created with the support of SAGE Publishing is focused on honouring a journal author whose article has helped to challenge the traditional notions of health leadership and motivate transformational behaviour.

The Article of the Year Award will highlight an original article published in the preceding year which has helped to inspire meaningful reform and contains findings which apply to multiple sectors within healthcare.

“SAGE and the College have enjoyed a long publishing relationship and it’s our pleasure to support the passionate work of authors who write for Healthcare Management Forum” said Lauren Hunt, Society Journals Manager at SAGE Publishing. “This journal is seen as a credible source of information and has been cited in the world’s top 5 medical journals including The LancetJAMA, and the New England Journal of Medicine.”

Nominations are not accepted for this award. An award selection committee comprised of Editorial Board members, peer reviewers, and active College members will select a shortlist of applicants and choose an author or group of authors who meet the established criteria. The award recipients will be recognized at the College’s Honouring Health Leadership event, on Sunday, June 14, 2020, in Edmonton.
