CLS Renewal Requirements

Prior to expiry of the three-year certification term, a CLS is expected to renew their certification in order to remain certified and to continue their work as a CLS within their organization. CCHL offers regular opportunities for all expiring CLS’s to renew through participation in a renewal forum offered by CCHL. Renewal forums provide the opportunity for CLS’s to connect and share their experiences using LEADS. This is also an opportunity to receive updates on what is new at the Canadian College of Health Leaders.

Live participation at a renewal forum is mandatory in order to renew certification and forum events are posted on the CCHL website where expiring CLS’s may register and pay the renewal fee of $900 for an additional three (3) year certification term.

NOTE: If a certification has been expired for more than one year, it is not longer valid and a CLS candidate is no longer eligible to renew. Any CLS expired for more than one year will be required to complete the full CLS Certification program in order for their certification to be valid again.
